Offline Data Capture – An XML based interface enables investigators to capture data in the field and, at a later time, upload these documents directly into their PowerCase incident, ready for processing.
 
Ad-Hoc Search – PowerCase’s Ad-Hoc search facility has been enhanced to give investigators even more insight into their data, both within and across particular investigations.

E-Communications Object – A new object type that represents and captures electronic communication data such as email addresses and URL’s. These entities are automatically detected by Indexer, Xanalys’ automated information extraction technology.

Document Indexing – A range of improvements have been made to PowerCase’s Index Plan which allows users to more rapidly process entities extracted from unstructured text.

Incident Management – PowerCases 4.4’s Incident Administration module now includes an Incident Setting interface that controls core incident functions, plus a range of enhancements to Incident Search, reporting and role assignment.

Automatic Action Creation – Case Managers can load standardised Action sets into an Incident at the commencement of an investigation.

Link Explorer 5.4, the latest release of Xanalys’ data analysis and visualisation application, is closely integrated with PowerCase 4.4 giving analysts the opportunity to query and visualise all aspects of a case data. Link Explorer 5.4 offers a range of associational, temporal and spatial views of data, helping the analyst reveal patterns and associations, and raise potential new lines of enquiry.
